Patty Smith

Patty Smith is a seasoned educator and professional with extensive experience in the medical billing and coding field. Currently serving as the Lead Faculty Member and Online Adjunct Instructor for the Medical Billing & Coding Program at Ultimate Medical Academy since January 2017, Patty supports program management and faculty development. Additional roles include coding for Genesis Healthcare and a long-standing involvement in education as a substitute teacher across various grade levels. Patty is also an entrepreneur, owning a home herbal gift basket business, and has previously held positions as a program director and instructor in medical coding and billing at multiple educational institutions. With a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's in Business Administration focused on Accounting and Finance, Patty combines educational expertise with practical experience in healthcare and business operations.
