Nikolay Zakharchenko

Nikolay Zakharchenko has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Nikolay is currently working as a Senior Android developer at Ultimate (by Unstoppable Finance) since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Trade Republic from September 2020 to July 2022 as a Senior Android developer. From May 2019 to August 2020, they served as a Senior Android Developer at Lab1886. Nikolay also worked at ImmobilienScout24 from October 2017 to April 2019 as a Senior Android Developer. Before that, they spent a significant part of their career at FlixBus from June 2014 to September 2017, where they worked as a Senior Android Developer.

Nikolay's earlier work experience includes roles as a Mobile Developer and Web Developer at Consileon Business Consultancy GmbH. As a Mobile Developer, they developed pilot apps for an event management start-up website using native and hybrid frameworks. Nikolay also worked on developing a home site with an internet shop for a German publishing house as a Web Developer. Additionally, they served as a Flex Developer and Team Leader for a social network start-up and worked on the implementation of a web-based front-end application for a sales management software platform.

Before joining Consileon Business Consultancy GmbH, Nikolay worked as a Java Developer at UBIS, where they were involved in developing an automated workplace application for operators on the railway station.

Throughout their career, Nikolay has gained expertise in various technologies such as Java (Android API), Objective-C, HTML5/JS, jQuery, Sencha, KendoUI, Phonegap, Flex, Java J2EE, WebLogic, Wicket, PL/SQL, SVN, Maven, BlazeDS, Hsql, and MS SQL.

Nikolay Zakharchenko obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Network and Computer Sciences with a minor in English from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' in 2008. Nikolay then pursued their Master's degree in Computer Sciences and Networks at the same institution, completing it in 2010.
