Alexander Veith

Alexander Veith has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. Alexander currently works at Ultivue as a Scientist and Technical Supervisor of Manufacturing since January 2023, where they are involved in expanding compatibility of the assay to new tissue staining platforms and addressing assay variability. Prior to this role, they were an Associate Scientist at Ultivue from April 2022 to January 2023, responsible for improving and expanding Ultivue ISP technology. In their previous role as a Research Associate at Ultivue from April 2021 to April 2022, Alexander focused on improving manufacturing processes, resulting in a new antibody purification method and reduced hands-on time. Before joining Ultivue, Alexander worked as a Biomanufacturing Technician from August 2020 to March 2021.

In this role, they conducted metabolomic analysis of yeast, designed autonomous bioreactors, and collaborated with the CEO on market analysis and value proposition. Alexander also designed biologic flow systems as demonstrations for clients and investors.

Alexander's previous experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital from May 2018 to September 2019, and as a Research and Development Intern at Covaris from May 2019 to August 2019. Alexander also gained research experience as a Student Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, where they contributed to a team researching the impact of gelsolin on the motility of dendritic cells and presented research findings in a mock grant proposal to university professors.
