Jay Lee

Head of Science and Technology at Ultivue

Jay Lee has a diverse work experience spanning from 1992 to the present. Starting at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, they worked as a Research Assistant from June 1992 to May 1994. Jay then moved on to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where they served as an Internal Medicine Resident from July 2002 to June 2004. Jay then joined Harvard Medical School as a Research Fellow in Church Laboratory in July 2006 and stayed until December 2012.

In 2013, they joined the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering as a Staff Scientist, remaining there until October 2014. Jay then became an Assistant Professor at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in November 2014, where they have been working until June 2023.

During their time at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Jay also took on the role of Director of Innovation at Ultivue in April 2022, before becoming the Head of Science and Technology at the same company in June 2023. With a strong background in the medical and scientific fields, Jay Lee brings a wealth of expertise to their current role at Ultivue.

Jay Lee attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry. Jay then pursued further studies at Tufts University School of Medicine, from 1994 to 2002, earning both a Medical Doctor (M.D.) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Cellular and Molecular Physiology. Additionally, between the years 2006 and 2014, Jay Lee attended Harvard Medical School, although information regarding the specific degree and field of study during this period is not available.
