Lucy Urim

Lucy Urim has extensive experience in the field of pathology and histology. Their most recent position is as a Scientist at Ultivue since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Pathology Lab Manager at Salem Community Hospital from June 2010 to April 2021, where they oversaw and coordinated all Histology, Cytology, and Pathology services.

Before joining Salem Community Hospital, Lucy worked as a Histology Manager at Cambridge Health Alliance from March 2007 to June 2010, where they were responsible for overseeing and coordinating operations in histology, specimen processing, and medical transcription.

From June 2006 to March 2007, Lucy served as a Pathology Lab Manager at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, where they managed the operations in histology, specimen processing, cytology, and medical transcription departments.

Prior to that, Lucy worked at Millenium Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Histologist from May 2005 to May 2006, where they evaluated practices in a histology laboratory and developed new policies and procedures to support toxicological pathology evaluation.

Lucy also has experience at Tufts Medical Center, where they served as the Technical Manager of Morphology Module/Research Associates II from April 1999 to May 2005. In this role, they established histology and immunohistochemistry procedures and trained research staff in these techniques.

Lucy Urim holds a Master's degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science/Research and Allied Professions from the Smolensk State Medical Academy. No specific time frame is provided for their education.
