Thomas Bechtel

Thomas Bechtel has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Thomas is currently serving as the Director of Business Operations at Ultra Clean Technology's Services Division. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the operations of QuantumClean and ChemTrace, two companies under UCT that provide services in semiconductor chamber tool parts cleaning, coatings, micro-contamination control, and risk management for semiconductor fabs.

Before joining Ultra Clean Technology, Thomas held various positions in different organizations. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Wild Horse Pass Development Authority as an Executive Staff, Development & Business Unit Operations. Prior to that, they were the Director of the Avnet Centers of Operational Excellence at Avnet from 2011 to 2013.

Thomas also has entrepreneurial experience as the Managing Partner of Foothills & Maricopa ACE Hardware stores from 2001 to 2010. During this time, they successfully established and grew two startup stores into award-winning locations. Thomas also served as a member of the ACE Phoenix Advisory Board from 2008 to 2010.

Earlier in their career, Thomas held a Vice President position at Avnet Electronics Marketing from 1983 to 2002. Thomas oversaw the company's expansion into North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, establishing a presence in growing markets.

In addition to their professional roles, Thomas has a passion for music. Thomas has served as a bass player in various bands, including The Curb Phoenix alternative band from 1996 to 1997, Cheap Suits LA Private Hire Band from 1984 to 1987, and The Kashmir Studio Sessions from 1982 to 1984.
