Joel Tanis

Joel Tanis is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Vice President of FP&A at Ultra Maritime since September 2023. Previously, Joel held multiple director-level positions at L3Harris Technologies, including Director of Program Finance and Director of FP&A - Cost Planning, from November 2017 to September 2023. At Harris Corporation, Joel was the Finance & Business Operations Lead, managing a team that supported defense contracts and influenced key program decisions from June 2015 to November 2017. Prior experience includes roles at Exelis, where Joel contributed as a Senior Project Business Manager and led Earned Value Management initiatives. Joel holds an MS in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Finance and a BS in Computer Science and Business from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
