John Gallagher

John Gallagher is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the defense and technology sectors. Currently serving as VP/GM at Ultra Maritime since August 2023, Gallagher previously held senior positions at Raytheon UK, including Managing Director for both Weapons & Sensors and Global Sensors from August 2018 to August 2023. Prior to that, Gallagher was the Managing Director at Raytheon ELCAN Optical Technologies from February 2015 to August 2018 and served as Director of Engineering & Quality at Raytheon UK for over a decade. Gallagher began a career in engineering at Alcatel/Kymata as Head of A&T and Director of NPI, as well as at Motorola Manufacturing System as Head of Mechanical Engineering. Gallagher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, earned between 1983 and 1987.
