Andreas Rizek

Andreas Rizek is an experienced professional in the music industry, currently serving as Head of A&R for North America at Ultra Music Publishing since September 2017, where previous roles include Senior Director of A&R and A&R Consultant. Prior to this, Andreas co-founded Downpour Inc., managing Downpour Records as COO and leading A&R efforts for an independent label from July 2012 to May 2018. Additional experience includes positions at No.19 Music as Record Label Coordinator, and SOCAN as A&R Coordinator, where responsibilities involved researching showcasing artists and managing recruitment processes. Early roles include Junior A&R Scout at The Feldman Agency and various positions emphasizing marketing, customer service, and event promotions. Andreas Rizek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Industry Arts from Fanshawe College.
