Juliet Tan has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and digital marketing. Juliet co-founded blackstar inc Asia, a music and digital marketing agency with a focus on Southeast Asia and Greater China. Juliet also worked as a marketing consultant for Ultra Records in Asia. Previously, they served as the Content and Digital Marketing Director at Massive Group. Juliet has experience in event marketing, having worked as a marketing consultant for the Neon Lights Music and Arts Festival. Juliet also has experience in brand partnerships, having worked on projects for Red Flame TV and FremantleMedia. Juliet was the Head of Marketing Singapore for AirAsiaExpedia and was responsible for branding, marketing, and social media strategies. Juliet also worked at NBCUniversal Media, LLC as part of the client services and marketing team. Juliet managed strategic marketing campaigns for NBCU channels across Asia and collaborated with media sales teams to develop customized sponsorship proposals. Prior to that, they worked at Viacom as a Partnerships Marketing professional for MTV Asia. Juliet managed channel sponsors for various events across Asia. Juliet's earlier experience includes working at Singapore Post Ltd on marketing campaigns and a rebranding exercise.

Juliet Tan attended Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Diploma in Mass Communication with a focus on Communication and Media Management. Juliet then pursued further education at the University of South Australia from 2000 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Media Management with a specialization in Mass Communication/Media Studies.

Additionally, Juliet has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include the Mailchimp Foundations certification from Mailchimp obtained in January 2022, the Google Analytics Individual Qualification and YouTube Music Certification from Google obtained in February 2021, the Adwords Mobile Advertising & Certification from the Marketing Institute of Singapore obtained in November 2015, and the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) certification from the Marketing Institute of Singapore obtained in September 2015. Juliet also holds the Google Partner Academy – Analytics Certification from Econsultancy obtained in November 2014, and the Digital Marketing Measurement & Analytics certification from Econsultancy obtained in October 2014. Additionally, they have a Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate certification, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
