Brei Gussack

Brei Gussack is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in licensing and technology transactions within the pharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as Senior Director at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. since June 2019, Brei leads the Global UltraProud initiative, actively participates in the DEIB Action Team, and has been recognized multiple times with the UltraRare Award while also being a two-time nominee for the RarePearl Award and winner of the Ignite Competition. Brei's previous positions include Director at Covington & Burling LLP and various roles at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, contributing expertise in corporate and life sciences transactions as well as IP litigation. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor with High Honors from The George Washington University Law School, an M.S. in Biological Chemistry from UCLA, and a B.A. in Growth and Structure of Cities from Bryn Mawr College.
