Dennis Coss

Dennis Coss, PhD, MBA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Technical Operations at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., where responsibilities include participating in cross-functional teams for CMO selection and serving as a downstream subject matter expert for biologics, AAV, and plasmid programs. Previously, Coss held senior director roles at Poseida Therapeutics, Passage Bio, and Lonza, focusing on AAV program oversight, process development for gene therapy applications, and viral vector downstream process development. Coss has significant experience in critical FDA submissions and has worked extensively in cross-functional teams across various organizations, including Bristol Myers Squibb and Allergan, contributing to technical improvements and process validations. Coss holds a PhD in Genetics and an MBA from West Virginia University.
