Kirin J.

Kirin J. is an experienced leader in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President and Program Team Leader at Ultragenyx since April 2019, managing cross-functional mRNA therapy, gene therapy, and biologics programs through various development stages. Prior roles include Senior Director positions at Achaogen, where Kirin led CMC and Therapeutic Drug Management teams, and Medtronic, where leadership focused on the commercialization of medical devices. Kirin's extensive background includes significant positions at Genentech in engineering and management, as well as earlier experience at Bayer HealthCare. Kirin holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
