Lisa Kahlman

Lisa Kahlman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public policy, public affairs, and legal affairs. Since April 2014, Lisa has held multiple leadership roles at Ultragenyx, currently serving as Executive Director of Public Policy and Public Affairs, following positions as Chief of Staff and Executive Director of Legal Affairs. Prior to Ultragenyx, Lisa was an Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP and Goodwin Procter LLP, as well as an Associate at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP. Lisa began a legal career with an internship at the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Lisa holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Theology from Boston College. Educational background includes Santa Margarita Catholic High School.
