Meghan Puopolo

Meghan Puopolo currently serves as the Associate Director of Quality Control Bioassay at Ultragenyx since May 2024. Prior to this role, Meghan held the position of Manager of Quality Control-Bioassay and Virology at uniQure from March 2021 to May 2024, where management responsibilities included overseeing a team of four full-time members and two contract employees, along with participating in various internal, partner, and regulatory audits, including representing the Bioassay team during FDA and Health Canada inspections. Meghan's experience also includes positions as a Quality Control Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, an Assay Development Scientist at Semma Therapeutics, and a Research Associate III at both ImmunoGen, Inc. and Cell Signaling Technology. Educationally, Meghan earned a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2003 to 2007.
