Sean Daugherty

Sean Daugherty is an experienced professional in the field of bioinformatics, currently serving as Senior Director at Ultragenyx since September 2016, having progressed through various roles including Director, Associate Director, and Senior Manager. Prior to Ultragenyx, Sean held the position of Senior Bioinformatics Analyst at the Institute for Genome Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from February 2008 to September 2016. Earlier experience includes roles at TIGR/JCVI as a Bioinformatics Analyst, Incyte Genomics as a Bioinformatics Associate, and at the University of Maryland School of Medicine as a Research Assistant. Sean Daugherty earned a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County between 1994 and 1999.
