Shehnaaz Suliman

Shehnaaz Suliman is the current director at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical. Shehnaaz has also been the president and chief operating officer at Alector from December 2019 to January 2022. Prior to that, they were the senior vice president corporate development and strategy at Theravance Biopharma US, Inc. from July 2017 to March 2019. Suliman has also worked as the vice president and global head of immunology, infectious diseases, and specialty care at Roche from May 2015 to July 2017.

Shehnaaz Suliman has completed an MBA with distinction in business administration from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. Shehnaaz also holds an MPhil in development studies from the University of Oxford, and an MBChB (M.D.) with class medal in medicine from the University of Cape Town.
