Apoorv Shankar

Apoorv Shankar currently serves as the Vice President of Hardware at Ultrahuman, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this role, Apoorv co-founded and was the CEO of Lazy Co. from May 2017 to April 2022, where a focus on UX-driven hardware innovations led to the development of products aimed at simplifying digital interactions. Apoorv also contributed to the creation of Handkey, an award-winning handheld tool designed for safer public surface interaction during the Covid-19 pandemic, while collaborating with a team from LazyCo. In addition to entrepreneurial ventures, Apoorv has experience in academia as a guest faculty member at the National Institute of Design, where instruction focused on quick prototyping for Android app and hardware development. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Design from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Technology from JSS Academy of Technical Education.
