Meng (Esther) Meng has held various roles in the tech and data science industries since 2019. In 2019, they were a Statistical Analyst for the Community Wise Pilot Study. Later that year, they also served as the Head Teaching Assistant for the iMBA Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2020, Meng worked as a Machine Learning Engineer for both simplehuman and Wave Neuroscience. In 2022, they began working as a Machine Learning Engineer for ULTRASENSE SYSTEMS. During their time at Wave Neuroscience, Meng designed, trained and deployed classification models with neural networks to detect epileptic seizures in over 1 million 20-second EEG recordings and achieved the highest accuracy of 98%. Meng (Esther) also collaborated with multiple clinical teams in designing clinical studies and statistical plans of treatment protocol, conducted statistical analyses and statistical modeling, and supported ongoing clinical studies.

Meng (Esther) Meng has a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, obtained in 2019. Meng (Esther) also has two Bachelor's degrees in Finance, General and Statistics from the same university, obtained in 2017 and 2017 respectively. Additionally, Meng has obtained several certifications from Coursera, Udemy, and LinkedIn, ranging from Applying Data Analytics in Marketing to Business Analyst and Project Manager Collaboration.
