Lior Avitan

Lior Avitan has a diverse work experience in various technical and managerial roles. From 2019 to present, Lior served as the CEO & Co Founder of Ultrawis, where they led a team in developing an industry 4.0 solution that combines image processing and AI to improve productivity and safety in heavy machinery operations. Prior to that, Lior worked at Elbit Systems Ltd from 2013 to 2019, first as a Tracker Development Team Lead from 2013 to 2016, and then as an R&D Technical Program Manager from 2016 to 2019. At Elbit Systems, they contributed to the development of tracking technologies and managed technical programs. Lior also gained experience at Elbit Systems from 2003 to 2009, focusing on helicopter display systems and electromagnetic tracker platforms. Additionally, they worked as a Project Manager at Leadcom from 2001 to 2003.

Lior Avitan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree obtained from the University of Haifa, which they pursued from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their MBA, Lior completed their Bachelor of Science (BSC) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at Israel Jobs between 2001 and 2006. In addition, they acquired a Practical ENG degree specializing in Electronics from the Israeli Air Force Technical College from 1993 to 1995.
