Marios Savvides

Marios Savvides is an accomplished technology leader and academic with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and biometrics. Currently serving as the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Technology Officer of UltronAI, Marios focuses on revolutionizing next-generation retail solutions since March 2023. At Carnegie Mellon University, Marios has held multiple positions, including Bossa Nova Robotics Professor in Artificial Intelligence and Director of the Carnegie Mellon Biometrics Center, contributing to advancements in the field since January 2004. Previously, Marios was the Chief AI Scientist at Oosto, enhancing visual AI applications for global brands, and served in similar roles at Bossa Nova Robotics and SkynetID. Marios holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Robotics and MicroElectronics Systems Engineering, respectively, highlighting a strong foundation in technology and engineering.
