Jonas Chelbat

Jonas Chelbat is the Founder and Managing Director of UMAI Restaurant Reservations, a mobile app and analytics platform aimed at enhancing dining experiences, with ongoing rapid expansion efforts. Previously, Jonas served as Managing Director at The Revelry, a lifestyle site and app that connected users with unique local experiences, where team growth was achieved across Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Jonas was a key member of the founding team and Vice President at Nova Founders Capital, contributing to the establishment of a venture capital firm focused on sustainable internet businesses, and held a similar VP role at Lion & Lion, a global digital agency. As Vice President International at Rocket Internet SE, Jonas was involved in scaling businesses across multiple continents. Early career experiences include roles at Deloitte and Audon Partners in corporate finance, as well as project management for the Danish Red Cross. Jonas holds a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and an International Business Baccalaureate from Niels Brock Copenhagen Business College.
