MacKenzie Johnson

Mackenzie Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries, with a focus on legal and compliance roles. Mackenzie currently holds the position of Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel at UMB Financial Corp, where they have been working since 2015. Prior to that, they served as a Legal and Compliance Associate at Heartland Advisors, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. Mackenzie began their career as a Law Clerk at KOHNER, MANN & KAILAS, S.C in 2012 and gained further legal experience as a Judicial Intern at JUDGE PATRICIA GORENCE, US MAGISTRATE JUDGE in 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Pro-Bono Intern at ATTORNEY THOMAS GILLIGAN and as a Judicial Intern at PRESIDING JUDGE PATRICIA CURLEY, WI COURT OF APPEALS during the same year. Mackenzie's early professional experience includes roles such as being a Student Escort Coordinator at Krannert School of Management in 2009 and a Finance Intern at McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc. in 2008.

Mackenzie Johnson began their education in 2006 at Purdue University Daniels School of Business, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Management with a focus on Finance. Mackenzie attended the school until 2010, completing their undergraduate degree.

Following their time at Purdue, Mackenzie Johnson enrolled in Marquette University Law School in 2010. Mackenzie pursued a Juris Doctor degree with honors, specializing in Law. Mackenzie successfully completed their legal studies and graduated cum laude in 2013.
