Colton Somes

Colton Somes has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Landscaper for Dew Drop Landscaping in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Floor Associate for Rosauers Supermarkets Inc and an Afterschool STEM Leader for Spokane Public Schools. Colton then took on an Intern role at School Data Solutions in 2016 and at Commerce Architects in 2019. In 2017, they worked as an IT Technical Support Specialist for CLINICAL PLACEMENTS NORTHWEST and as a Routesetter for Bloc Yard Bouldering Gym. Colton also worked as a Freelance React Developer from 2017. Finally, since 2020, they have been a Software Engineer 1 and Associate Software Engineer at Commerce Architects and will be a Web Application Crafter at Umbrage starting in 2022.

Colton Somes has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Eastern Washington University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2020. Prior to this, they obtained their High School Diploma from Lewis and Clark High School from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they have obtained two certifications: the Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate from Amazon in June 2022, and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020.
