Will Carey has held various roles in the tech and public service industries since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Student Technician at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. In 2013, they worked as a Congressional Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives, a Commercial Sales Intern at Dow AgroSciences, and a Marketing Intern at Dow AgroSciences. In 2014, they worked as a Marketing Intern at Dow AgroSciences. In 2015, they worked as a Legislative Session Staff Member at the Texas Senate and a Consulting Analyst, Senior Analyst, and Product Manager at Accenture. Finally, in 2020, they became the VP of Product at Umbrage, a creative legion that designs, develops, and distills software solutions for its enterprise clients.
Will Carey attended St. Thomas High School, followed by Texas A&M University where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics in 2014. Will then pursued non-degree studies at ESA, L'Ecole supérieure des agricultures in International Agriculture and Business. Will has also obtained several certifications, such as Design Thinking Practitioner from LUMA Institute in 2018, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in August 2019, and Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2020.
