Chrl Courtney Potts

Courtney Potts, CHRL has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Courtney most recently served as the Director of Operations at Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton since July 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Human Resources at the same company from January 2019 to July 2021.

Before joining Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton, Courtney worked at the Canadian Deafblind Association Ontario Chapter in various HR roles. Courtney served as the Director of Human Resources from February 2014 to January 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Manager of Human Resources - Employee Management and Health & Safety from November 2013 to February 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Health & Safety Officer from November 2012 to October 2013, and as a Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator from November 2007 to November 2012.

Courtney's early work experience includes roles at McMaster University as a Payroll Assistant (Contract) in 2007, and at SIR Corp as a Human Resources Assistant (Contract) in 2007.

Courtney Potts, CHRL, completed their education in Human Resources Management at Mohawk College from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they studied Business Marketing at the same institution from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their education, they obtained the CHRL certification from HRPA in October 2009.
