Zhaoyao Zhan

Zhaoyao Zhan is a seasoned materials scientist with extensive experience in process integration and research. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at United Microelectronics Corporation since January 2018, Zhan previously held positions as a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, focusing on tactile sensors for pressure sensing and physiological information acquisition. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, where Zhan investigated graphene growth mechanisms and developed an environmentally friendly graphene transfer method, as well as Research Associate at Nanyang Technological University, studying CVD synthesis of metal oxide nanostructures for photodetection applications. Zhaoyao Zhan earned a PhD in Materials Science from Nanyang Technological University and holds degrees in Materials Science from Harbin Institute of Technology.
