UME Studio
Daniel Roizman has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Daniel is the Co-founder and CEO of UME Studio since March 2020, where they developed a communication platform for remote teams, training, and sales. Prior to that, they co-founded UME Academy in March 2015.
From January 2000 to August 2022, Daniel served as the Owner of Kolektiv Development, providing training, integration, and consultation services to help companies achieve their production goals. Daniel also advised and collaborated with Wind Sun Sky Entertainment during this time.
Daniel was a Board Member at Congregation Har El from September 2014 to August 2017. At Atomic Cartoons, they worked as a Line Producer and CG Supervisor from February 2015 to July 2017.
In 2013, Daniel was a Product Manager at Hiyu, where they developed and launched an iOS/Android social media app. Daniel led a team in creating the app, which gained over 5000 users.
From 2011 to 2013, Daniel held the position of Director of Strategic Operations at Gener8 Digital Media Corp. Daniel provided production analytics, business analysis, and operations strategy, and led the development of a production and digital asset management system for stereoscopic 2D to 3D conversion of Hollywood films.
As the General Manager and Account Executive at Goldtooth Creative Agency Inc. from 2009 to 2011, Daniel led business operations, developed new business, and managed major clients. Daniel successfully grew revenue and oversaw agency growth during their tenure.
Daniel's earlier experience includes working at Electronic Arts from January 2004 to January 2009 as a CG Supervisor, where they played a pivotal role in the transition from older gaming consoles to newer consoles.
In the visual effects industry, Daniel held the role of CG Supervisor from 1999 to 2004. Daniel managed teams working on innovative projects, developed production workflows, created software tools, and collaborated on major films such as The Matrix series and X-Men series. Daniel also commercialized a visual effects software tool called "Stroika" and produced training products for 3D artists.
Daniel Roizman attended the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 1997 for a semester abroad program. During this time, they focused on studying Near and Middle Eastern Studies.
