Saad Laraqui

Saad Laraqui serves as an Overseas Collegiate Professor in Finance at the University of Maryland Global Campus since October 2025. Previously, Laraqui held the position of Associate Dean of Research at ESCA Ecole de Management from February 2023 to September 2025, where responsibilities included leading research initiatives, managing budgets, and enhancing scholarship impact. Laraqui's extensive academic career includes roles as a Professor and Program Director at the University of Maryland Global Campus and various professorships in finance across multiple institutions, including Al Yamamah University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Notable contributions also include directing the OCP Foundation and establishing business educational institutions in Morocco. Saad Laraqui holds a Ph.D. in Management from Rutgers University, an MBA in Economics and Finance from the University of Tampa, and a Bachelor's degree in Management from ISG Paris.
