Seth Tigchelaar

Seth Tigchelaar is currently a Neurosurgery Resident at the University of Miami Health System since June 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Surgery Intern at Neuralink from October 2022 to August 2023 and as a Medical Fellow at SpaceX from November 2020 to August 2023. Seth Tigchelaar earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Stanford University School of Medicine from 2019 to 2023 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from the University of British Columbia from 2013 to 2019, having also completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Mathematics at the same institution from 2008 to 2013. Additional roles include mentorship and teaching positions at UBC and Coursera, as well as experience as a Research Assistant and in logistics at Aritzia.
