Jimmy Castiglione

Jimmy Castiglione, MD, is currently a PGY-1 neurosurgery resident physician at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, a position held since May 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Research Assistant at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, contributing to a deep learning research project under the guidance of Samuel Brady and Elanchezhian Somasunduram. Castiglione has a background in software engineering with 4moms, where significant contributions were made to application development and the integration of microservices. Additional research experience includes working under Dr. David Koes at the University of Pittsburgh and involvement in physics research at the same institution. Castiglione earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics from the University of Pittsburgh.
