Amanda Garner

Amanda Garner is currently the Charles Walgreen, Jr. Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, serving since February 2025. Garner has a long-standing affiliation with the University of Michigan, holding various academic positions, including Professor and Director of the Interdepartmental Program in Medicinal Chemistry since August 2013. Garner is actively involved in several editorial and advisory roles, including serving as an Advisory Board Member for Cell Chemical Biology, a member of the SLAS Discovery Editorial Board, and Series Editor for Topics in Medicinal Chemistry at Springer Nature. Garner completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh and earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Allegheny College.
