Bob Thompson

Bob Thompson is a retired academic with extensive experience in the field of biology and medicine, specifically in cell biology and anatomy. Bob served at the University of Michigan since August 2005 in roles that evolved from Research Assistant Professor to Research Associate Professor. Prior to that, Bob held an Assistant Professor position at the University of Michigan Medical School from May 2001 until June 2008. Bob earned a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Anatomy from Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine, as well as a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Juniata College. Currently, Bob dedicates time to a local nonprofit focused on eradicating poverty in Washtenaw County, Michigan.
