David Arndt is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in operations, maintenance, reliability, commissioning, and energy conservation. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at the University of Michigan since 2001, David specializes in troubleshooting complex building systems, particularly HVAC and controls. Previously, David held the role of President at DavaRay, Inc., a therapeutic medical device company in Ann Arbor, Michigan, from 2006 to 2016. Prior to that, David was a Lead Engineer at Johnson Controls from 1994 to 2001, where leadership duties included managing a team of 26 engineers and mentoring new talent. Earlier in their career, David worked as a Lead Engineer for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company from 1988 to 1993, overseeing construction and staff training.
