Doug Livingston

Doug Livingston, PE, currently serves as the Lead Energy Engineer at the University of Michigan since May 2023. Prior to this role, Doug held multiple positions at the University of Virginia, including Associate Director of Automation Services and Energy and Sustainability Engineer from August 2016 to May 2023. Doug's experience also includes significant roles at Harvard University as Program Manager and Project Manager for Green Building Services from June 2013 to July 2016, and teaching positions at Harvard Extension School in 2013 and 2015. Earlier career experience includes positions as Mechanical Engineer at Henderson Engineers, Inc., Mechanical Designer at WSP Flack + Kurtz, and Mechanical Intern at DLR Group. Doug holds a Master's degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
