Jimmy Hester

Jimmy Hester is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in electrical and computer engineering. Currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan since October 2023, Jimmy co-founded Atheraxon in January 2018. Previous experience includes positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and MS ECE Student at Georgia Institute of Technology from January 2013 to August 2019, as well as an Associate Researcher and Research Intern at Northrop Grumman Corporation from June 2016 to September 2017. Early career experience includes a part-time Electrical Engineering role and a summer internship at LAAS-CNRS in 2012. Jimmy earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2018, following a Master’s degree in the same field. Additionally, an Engineer Diploma and Bachelor of Science in Electronic and Signal Processing Engineering were obtained from ENSEEIHT.
