Julie Evershed

Julie Evershed serves as the Director of the University of Michigan Language Resource Center since September 1998, overseeing the center's support for second language acquisition and pedagogy across over 50 languages. Under Julie's leadership, the center boasts 56 computer stations, multiple classrooms, an extensive multilingual library, and an audio/video production studio, complemented by a team of instructional design consultants. Additionally, Julie chairs the Teaching and Technology Collaborative, facilitating the integration of technology into teaching through events like the "Enriching Scholarship" conference. Julie's earlier experience includes roles as an Information Specialist at Nonprofit Enterprise at Work, Manager of Information Services at Food Gatherers, Office Manager at Zingerman's Delicatessen, and Assistant Buyer at Zingerman's Delicatessen. Julie Evershed holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Information and Library Science from the University of Michigan, a Certificat d'études politiques from Aix-Marseille Université, and a Bachelor's in French Language and Literature from the University of Michigan.
