Kayla Douglas, LMSW, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Mental Health Promotion and Embedded Clinician in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan, a position held since July 2021. Douglas has experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker embedded in the College of Engineering and has been the Head Coach at Franklin High School since May 2019. As a co-founder of Dare To Be and a consultant for both BLND and BlitzPrep, LLC, Douglas contributes to initiatives aimed at supporting individuals in transition after sports. Additional roles include serving as an Assistant Coach at Albion College and an Adjunct Social Work Counselor at the University of Michigan. Douglas holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies, along with Psychology, both from the University of Michigan.
