Lei Ying

Professor

Lei Ying is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in electrical and computer engineering. Currently, Lei serves as a Professor at the University of Michigan since August 2019 and at Arizona State University since August 2012, where Lei has also held the title of Associate Professor in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering. Prior to this, Lei was an Assistant Professor at Iowa State University from January 2008 to August 2012 and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin in 2007, specializing in wireless networks. Lei Ying earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, respectively, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, following a B.E. in Automation from Tsinghua University.
