Mike Widen

Mike Widen is a seasoned professional in recreational sports with over two decades of experience in the field. Since September 2013, Mike has served as the Director of Recreational Sports at the University of Michigan. Prior to this role, Mike worked at the University of Iowa from 2000 to 2013, where positions included Associate Director and Assistant Director in Recreational Services. Additionally, Mike began a career in sports management as a Marketing and Entertainment Intern with the New York Mets in 1997. Mike holds a Master of Arts in Recreation and Sports Management and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, both obtained from the University of Iowa.
