Rachel Reuter serves as the Risk Mitigation & Internship Program Manager at the University of Michigan's Center for Global and Intercultural Study (CGIS) since July 2013, demonstrating a career marked by effective management of health and safety in the context of international study programs. Promoted to manager after successfully leading critical incident response and risk mitigation efforts, Rachel has been pivotal in launching CGIS’s inaugural international internship portfolio for Summer 2024. Previous roles include Senior Health & Safety Advisor and Health & Safety Coordinator, where responsibilities involved 24/7 incident management and the design of pre-departure health and safety programs focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Earlier experience as an Immigration Assistant included processing I-20 forms for international students and ensuring compliance with immigration regulations. Rachel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Michigan, a Master's Degree in International Security from the University of Denver, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science from Eastern University.
