Steve Lonn

Steve Lonn is an accomplished HR Data Storyteller at the University of Michigan since February 2005, specializing in data storytelling, workforce metrics, and data analysis to inform institutional decision-making. His diverse experience includes leadership roles in data analytics and research, focusing on undergraduate admissions, financial aid, and student success, as well as prior positions in assessment, learning analytics, and educational technology. Steve holds a Ph.D. in Learning Technologies and an M.A. in Educational Technology from the University of Michigan, complemented by a B.A. in Psychology and Religious Studies from UC Santa Barbara. Steve has also contributed to higher education as a lecturer and instructor, developing critical courses on technology and learning.
