Terri Orbuch

Terri Orbuch is a distinguished professor of sociology at Oakland University since August 1998 and a research professor at the University of Michigan since 1990. Orbuch has established expertise in personal relationship health, contributing as an expert to multiple platforms including DatingAdvice.com and WJBK-TV FOX 2 Detroit. As the creator and instructor of a science-based coaching certification course at the Global Love Institute, Orbuch engages in educating and guiding individuals in the field. Additionally, Orbuch hosted "The Love Doctor Radio Program" from 2004 to 2023 and has served as a relationship expert for media outlets such as Huffington Post and OurTime.com. Orbuch holds a BA, MA, and PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, awarded between 1977 and 1988.
