Axelle Schauwers

Axelle Schauwers has extensive experience in operations management, currently serving as Head of Operations at Umicore since September 2008, where previous roles included Production Manager, Project Manager, and Process Manager in the Business Line of Substrates Electro-Optic Materials. Prior to Umicore, Axelle Schauwers worked as a Process Engineer at imec from September 2006 to September 2008. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Industrial Management with a focus on Environment, Safety, and Energy from KU Leuven (2005-2006) and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Chemistry, from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' in Gent (2001-2005).
