Bart van der Maelen

Bart Van der Maelen is an experienced HR technology professional currently serving as the Head of Global HR Technology and Reporting at Umicore since August 2006. In this role, Bart leads the HR Technology & Reporting team within the People & Organization division and collaborates closely with the IS department and external partners. Prior to this position, Bart held various roles at Umicore, including Global HR Business IT Manager and HR Systems Coordinator, overseeing SAP HR systems globally. Bart's career began at Logica and included significant consulting work for Deloitte/Emeritis, focusing on SAP HR applications and functional analysis. Bart holds a Master’s degree in HR Management from the University of Antwerp and a degree in Applied Economics with a focus on Human Resources from KU Leuven.
