Joel Omale

Joel Omale is a Senior Process Development Engineer at Umicore since December 2023, with prior experience as a Battery Development & Process Engineer at Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering from October 2022 to October 2023. Joel's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering & Materials Science from Université catholique de Louvain, where Joel was a Research Fellow from September 2018 to September 2022. Previous roles include a Research Intern at Leti, a Procurement Officer and Graduate Management Trainee with HARPS Holdings Nigeria Limited, a National Youth Service Corps Member at Mololuwa Model School, and an Industrial Trainee at Transocean. Joel holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering & Materials Science from Université catholique de Louvain and another Master's in Materials Science & Engineering from Grenoble INP - UGA, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University.
