Jonas Coppens

Jonas Coppens is currently serving as an R&D Project Chemist at Umicore since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jonas held a position as a Professional at YER from February 2022 to July 2023 and worked as a Junior Technical Manager at ATK for a brief period in 2021. Jonas also contributed as a Process & QC Analyst at Eternit Belgium between May 2019 and February 2021. Earlier experience includes an internship at KU Leuven, focusing on the impact of toxic components on anaerobic water treatment. Educationally, Jonas attained a Master's degree in Industrial Sciences: Chemistry from KU Leuven (2017-2019) and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from UC Leuven-Limburg (2013-2017).
