Lieven Maes

Lieven Maes has extensive experience in human resources and management, currently serving as HR BP Operations Europe at Umicore Rechargeable Battery Materials since April 2007. Throughout this tenure, Lieven has held multiple leadership roles including Director of Health & Safety, Fire Department, Facility Services, and Communication, as well as Director of HR & Communication for the Hoboken site. Prior to joining Umicore, Lieven worked at DAF Trucks Vlaanderen NV from March 1998 to March 2007, where the role progressed from Compensation & Benefits Officer to Compensation & Benefits Manager. Educational qualifications include a Master in Law from KU Leuven, complemented by studies at Vlerick Business School and two colleges.
