Pieter Verbeke

Pieter Verbeke has a range of work experience in IT and business analysis roles. Pieter started their career in 2016 at Exellys, where they worked as an IT Business Analyst on projects for Umicore, focusing on SAP ERP and greenfield CRM applications. In 2018, they joined Umicore directly as an IT Business Analyst, specializing in international CRM and e-Services projects on the Salesforce platform. Pieter also served as the main point of contact for the technical implementation partner. In 2020, Pieter transitioned to the role of IT Project Lead at Umicore, overseeing multiple digitalization projects, particularly in IoT programs, SaaS implementations, and Azure PaaS build projects. Additionally, Pieter is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board at VSC | Vlaams Supercomputer Centrum starting in 2023.

Pieter Verbeke attended Ghent University from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Engineering with a focus on Operational Management. In 2015, they also attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a Summer School program in International Economics. Additionally, Pieter Verbeke has received certifications in Salesforce, including the Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Certification in December 2018 and the Salesforce Certified Administrator certification in April 2017.
