Shaun Geerts

Shaun Geerts has extensive experience in process improvement and leadership roles within the chemical engineering sector. From January 2016 to February 2023, Shaun served as Process Improvement Manager, Team Leader for QESH at Umicore, and Production Coordinator for BZM, where responsibilities included overseeing three continuous production teams, coordinating the industrialization of new processes in collaboration with R&D, and ensuring a safe work environment. Shaun is currently pursuing a Postgraduate course in Lean Black Belt at Ghent University, following a Master's degree in Industrial Chemical Engineering from Artesis Hogeschool Antwerpen, where the thesis focused on glycol dehydration of natural gas.
